Located on the peninsula's edge of the historic district, The Charleston Maritime Center makes a perfect stop for all types of visiting vessels. It is nestled in the center of Charleston’s protected harbor and is approximately 3.5 miles from the open sea. Access is direct and immediate from the sea to the dock. No bridges are located from the mouth of the harbor to the docks.
While on land, you are in close proximity to the public library, 24 hour grocery store, the South Carolina Aquarium, tours to Fort Sumter, multiple restaurants, and the historic district/tours.
Hours of operation for the marina are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Saturday, and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday.
